Shooting the Sniper Rifle

A couple years ago, Trevin got a gun called the Mosin Nagant. Its an old rifle made by the Germans in World War 2. As you can see, its been upgraded a little. I just think it was cool because it holds history. Anyway, we took it out shooting today with our friends Scott and Emilee. It was so much fun!

And Scott "scoped" himself. Haha!

Fun with Disney!

After Trevin and I were married, we went to Disneyland for our honeymoon. We had such a great time hanging out with each other and getting to know each other better. We decided to go to California for our honeymoon. We had such a great time! However, when we got to California, our honeymoon was a little rocky at first. Our honeymoon was definitely one of our adventures.

I had picked the hotel because it seemed nice, it was the Howard Johnson Hotel in Fullerton. I didn't look at the reviews, which I probably should have. The pictures on the website must have been set up to look nice or something because it definitely did not look like the pictures on the website. Let's just say, I wouldn't have been surprised if there were termites in the building, that is how disgusting the hotel was. looking at each other with a surprised look, we checked in.

We headed down the hall to our room and I kept hoping that it would get better, it didn't, it got worse. The paint on all t he walls were chipped. One of the rooms we passed was propped open by a weight that someone probably took from the weight room, In that room, there was a jazz band and they were blasting their music.

We finally made it to our room and opened the door. Our room was absolutely AWFUL! The middle of the bed sagged down, the room didn't look like a maid had done much. There was a door to the bedroom next door that had a chair propped in front of it (like we wouldn't know there was a door there), there were no lights, just a single lamp that didn't work very good in the corner of the room. Trevin and I did not know what to do. I was so embarrassed!

Trevin and I weren't sure what to do. We decided we would try to see what our options were. We didn't trust anyone staying there or even anyone working there, so we began looking for hiding spots to hide our money and other valuables. While looking, Trevin found a hole in the wall, this wasn't just a hole, it was a HOLE! It went completely to the outside! We could see the grass on the other side of the wall, OUTSIDE!

Trevin and I decided we were going to call the company we did our honeymoon through to see what we could do. Luckily, they had great customer service. They were very good to us. They apologized and got us a completely different hotel right then. The manager of the hotel was not happy that we were leaving and gave both Trevin and I dirty looks as we left. We were so glad to be out of that mess!

The hotel that we were transferred to was the Ayres Inn in Orange. That hotel was the complete opposite of the Howard Johnson Hotel in Fullerton. It was beautiful! The hotel was fancy, it was well kept top to bottom, and our room was one of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. It had a big screen TV, a nice bed, cute furniture and a leather couch. It was nice! We could finally enjoy ourselves! We set up our stuff and went to bed.

The next morning I woke up first. When I sat up I noticed a strange object I had not seen the night before. There was a random purse in the middle of the floor! I woke Trevin up, worried that someone had been in the room. He was worried too. However, the night before, Trevin had propped a chair in front of the door, it had not been moved. How did the purse get there? Trevin picked it up and began rummaging through trying to see if he could find anything about the owner. We ended up taking it to the front desk, wondering what happened, apparently it belonged to the people that stayed in the room before us. Trevin and I must have just not noticed the purse there. Haha!

Now that the weirdness was over, we finally got to enjoy our honeymoon. We spent a few days at the beach. We bought boogie boards and were riding the waves. It was the fist time I had ever done that. It was so much fun! We also went and shopped around on Balboa Island. We visited the haunted cruise ship, the Queen Mary. We also went to Disneyland! It was so much fun. We were sad when it finally ended and we had go home and get back to reality.

Here are some pictures and videos from our trip!

Best Ride EVER!

Wait for it...
 BAM!

In Disneyland there was a duck and Trevin kept feeding it those spicy fries, and it loved it! It was hilarious! It kept coming back for more!

It was a great trip. It was a great kick off to our future. :)
