Ogden Temple Open House

Another adventure of the summer was the Ogden Temple open house. I was so excited to go to the open house! I love temples. They are so beautiful. It is also a great chance to feel the Spirit. I must tell you, I certainly felt the Holy Ghost in the temple. I take every chance I can to go to any temple. I love them so much. They are the house of God. He certainly deserves these beautiful castles. I love being a Mormon!

Ghost Hunting

So, Millie, my friends and I do this thing sometimes called "Ghost Hunting" where we look for ghosts of murderers, legends, and victims, on purpose. I don't know what's wrong with us. Anyway, here we are on the Grimm Ghost Tours cemetery tour.

This was our lovely tour guide, Lola Botamy... Get it? Hahaha!
Note: She is a great tour guide, if you ever go on one of their tours, go when she is the guide! She is the best!

This is the grave of the infamous Jack Slade. If you don't know who he is, I posted a link below where you can read about his dangerous history.

This was the first grave ever made in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Her name was Mary Wallace. She was the wife of the first ever grave keeper.

This wasn't part of the tour, but here is the grave of one of the LDS Prophets Wilford Woodruff. We walked passed him on the tour. It was cool seeing his grave so I had to post it.

This wasn't part of the tour either but, HERE'S A GIANT PIECE OF PETRIFIED WOOD!!! ...and some guy in pajama's...

Next stop on the tour, is one of my personal favorite legends, Porter Rockwell. Body guard to the prophet Joseph Smith. This was the grave I was most excited to see. If you don't know who he is, I posted a link under the photo where you can read about him.

And here is the scariest part of the tour...

 Cue the Psycho music...
Hahaha...

Another cool legend to see, was the grave of Jacob Moritz. Also known as the Legend of Emo. If you don't know who he is, I've posted yet, another link below the photo.

After the tour we went and ate at Kneaders in the City Creek mall.

Amber couldn't figure out how to eat like a normal person. Haha! Ginger...

 Hopey being ever so serious.

Me and Millie being... me and Millie...

It was a fun night!

Meghan and Stefan 8/9/2014 - Forever

A much anticipated blog post that I've been wanting to write for a while, is my sister Meghan's marriage to my new brother in-law Stefan. First off, can I just say FINALLY, they have been dating for forever! I've been wanting them to tie the knot for years! Not because I love her but because I love both of them. Stefan is the perfect Prince Charming to my sisters happily ever after. They are so cute together. You can see it in both their faces how happy they make each other. I have never seen my sister so happy. Only Stefan is able to do that to her. So, I am so happy they finally married each other!

Here are some photo's I took of the lovely couples special day:

I got too excited and ended up taking a picture of the door. Whoops. Haha!

It's so beautiful!

Don't forget, a midst all the beauty there is still some normalcy. Hahaha!

Here are some photo's of the beautiful Manti Temple. What a beautiful castle to be married in.

And here are some at the reception:

Cutting the cake.

Couples first dance.

My dad sung this beautiful song for my sister that had everyone in tears. Unfortunately that included me too. Yes, I cried like a baby!

This is her standing and listening to my dad.

Everyone was crying.

So beautiful.

Then we moved on to Stefan taking off Meghan's garter... Haha!

And last but not least, the getaway cars. Bwahahahaha!

Here are some photo's I touched up of the beautiful day:

The night was absolutely beautiful. I was so happy I got to be involved in the happy ending of two of my favorite people ever. I love them so much. I can't wait to see what beauty their future holds.

And they lived Happily Ever After.
