My Two Scents on Phil's Suspension from Duck Dynasty

Hello,

I am not biased towards either side. I just have one question, if someone comes and says something condemning to The Robertson Family or Christianity are you going to suspend that person or persons too? Not likely.

What was one thing this country was built for? Freedom of speech. You are taking away Phil's right to speak.

You think you guys are being a hero, you are not. Why? Because people have been attacking Christians for centuries so who is going to defend them? Are they less important? Last I thought, they had beating hearts with emotion too.

Although it was something that might have needed to have been kept to himself, the person that asked him has just as much blame. Would you have liked for him to lie? If I wanted to see a bunch of liars, I would have watched one of your other shows.

I admire him for standing up for what he believes in. That is how you recognize the real people from the fakers. Nobody seems to be doing that nowadays for fear of what other people may think. The Robertsons aren't loved for just being funny, they are loved by so many people because they are the only 'real' family on television. Being funny is just a plus for so many people.

Just by saying that is what he believes in doesn't mean he's going to go after every person that is in the LGBT. He'll love them just as much as he loves every other living person because that is also what God teaches. I think it's just a big misunderstanding.

In the long run, words are just words, they aren't bullets. I can name tons of your other stars that have said or done hurtful things and didn't get punished.

If you want to ruin one of your top shows, I guess it's up to you if you want to lose that money.

If I've learned anything from the Robertsons, it's that I'm going to put my two cents in.

Thank you.

Relief in the Philippines!

Hello everyone!

Here is the link to a Facebook post in relation to relief in the Philippines.

https://www.facebook.com/reliefforfamiliesinthephilippines

"Hello! You guys have been invited to this page because instead of sitting around and watching as people suffer, we are going to do something about it! It breaks our hearts to see the turmoil the Philippines has taken. The devastation is nerve wracking. We created this page to help bring awareness of the situation that these wonderful people are in. First, several tragic earthquakes and terrifying aftershock and now, Typhoon Haiyan has ravaged these poor people.

This page is strictly for finding donations to give to 11 families in the Philippines. They have lost their homes. They have even lost family members and friends very dear to them. These are coworkers of mine that we work with on a day to day basis. As you see in the cover photo, while they are in need of relief themselves, they are providing relief to others instead. These are very selfless people that we are so lucky to work with. We want to be able to take care of them. They are in need, they need more then what we can give, so we are reaching out to you for help. We will also keep you updated with photo's of what your donations have done to help these people.

We plan to use your donations to help with home rebuilding costs, funeral costs and even to help give them a Christmas this year.

If you help us, help them, we will be greatly indebted to you. We thank you in advance."

Adventures in Sundance!

At work, I won the incentive for this month. The prize was a night in a cabin up at Sundance. The cabin is family owned by my boss, Connor. His mother, Robin, runs it. Connor was so nice to have given this to us. His mother was so sweet and helpful. We are eternally grateful to them. I was so excited when I heard that I won it. Trev and I desperately needed a short get away. Here is our Sundance adventure!

This is us hiking to my favorite waterfall!!!

This is where Trevin proposed to me!!!

Took a few tries to get a good photo.

There was a photographer up here taking photo's of a model and she helped us get a few good photo's.

Trevin is chillin' by the fireplace back at the cabin.
